When iwasin Girl Scouts the curved Bar was awarded to me it was right there as was the Eagle Scout Merdit badge. No Boy Scouts was founded by a man and Girl Scout was. The saddest part of this story is she will be 18 or close to it when she becomes eligible to join boy scouts, so there is really no way to make eagle. I attended cub scouts all the Team Carter lifetime member shirt way up to Eagle Scouts with my brother. It was so much better than Girl Scouts for me. I'm all for girls being able to do most everything boys can do, but I think the Boy Scouts should be for boys. Girls scouts should step up the game for the girls who want more adventure. I was on the Girl Scouts and so were my girls and even then the Girl Scouts lacked adventure, but I would never nor would they Impede on the boys having there time to grow. Sometimes things in life need to not be changed and the Boy Scouts is one. Sorry, but it's my opinion. Next thing you know a charge will be brought up on harassment of some kind. It's the world we are in now. Sad, but true!

That's so stupid. Would've made more sense if Girl Scouts didn't exist. Girl scouts are not equal. The highest rank in girl scout doesn't open doors to scholarships like the eagle does, which is what the girls are after. Girl scouts ,depending on leader doesn't go camping and if they do, it's usually a "safe" environment and not adventurous like what the boyscouts do. Ie, in my town the boyscouts went camping overnight in a battleship while the girl scouts camped in a library. irl scouts do have the same oppurtunites. Its up to the Team Carter lifetime member long sleeve tee parents and troop leader. Get invovled and step up. Theres over 4800 badges girls can earn Camping hiking life skills cpr and I could go on.
