I recently worked a job where I would often work up to 19 hours a day. That was NO blessing. I missed out on so much that I’ll never get back. It wreaked havoc on my health and my personal life. I was saving lives, but at the expense of my own. No job is worth your health, your life and your overall well-being. Life is about so much more than just working. If Employers want and or require a 12-hour a day 6 day work week then they should be required to compensate their employees for taking away their time from life. People do not live to work people work to live. You can't buy back the experiences you miss while you are overworking yourself. At the end of your life what do you have if all you did was work? You guys, but what if we started people working at the age of six? Toddlers have a lot of energy. Do you want your toddler to be a slacker? Remember, closers get snackies!

12-hour shifts are fine for someone who has a spouse at home taking care of business but for people who don't have a spouse it's a misery. Gary Vaynerchuk says 18 hours a day graft is what's needed if you are serious about getting wealthy. 12 hours in comparison is a breeze. I work for myself so not a problem for me but to work that long for someone else is a no. Good for you Jack Ma. I do not want to take anything away from you or your success, but you don't have to bring everyone with you.
