All of you "just go adopt" people - do you know how difficult and expensive it is to do that? Not that a biological child is any less difficult or expensive to conceive and raise, but it's not exactly easy to foster or adopt children. I know people who have waited 5 or more years to bring a child home.

I would rather a child join a family who actually wants them, instead of a couple who's true nature/want is to have biological children. People do not really think of the Ovaries grow a pair shirt kids when they try to peer pressure people into adopting. We can do both. No one is advocating this as a way to end adoptions. There will still be children who need to be adopted.
